founder - who is driving the NJIN
The vision for this initiative is that of Nirup Jayanth, a trained architect who has led international firms in India. He has served as Country head for Surbana Jurong a Singaporean firm, Regional Head and Head of Special Projects in SMEC an Australian subsidiary of the Surbana Jurong Group. He has worked with a number of American head quartered firms inclusing Cannon Design, Peter Ellis New Cities and Cubellis Inc.
He started his career doing an internship with Balkrishna V. Doshi, a Pritzker prize winning Indian Architect, following which he did his Master's at Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago. He then worked in the US and returned to India to start the Indian operations for the firm he was with at that time.
He has led teams across multiple countries in South and Central Asia and the Middle East and worked on projects across the region as well.
Nirup is now looking to focus on creating solutions for Indian business houses and family offices that are coming of age in our new economy. With a push for Atmanirbhar growth from the government, it is an opportune time in our economy to build for ourselves and look inward for our next phase of growth!
The NJIN hopes to be the engine that powers this journey.
